Description

I'm gonna admit something here:I traced the outlines and details for this artwork. Yes, I know it is an art crime to me, but I was required to do it for art class at school, and it gave me confidence while coloring (I'm not experienced at drawing humans) Otherwise, I am chuffed with The Magic of Luna! (Luna Lovegood is a Harry Potter film and movie character, in case you didn't know)  Everyone in my class had to draw a detailed picture of their chosen celebrity with three different art materials: pencils, oil pastels, and acrylic paint. It also had to be in four squares, and the the two coloured squares had to be monochromatic (only two colours- white and my chosen colour, violet) First I shaded two squares with 4B, B and 2H pencils, kneadable art eraser (it attracts attention at my school for its oddity. Lots of people want to touch it) and paper blending stumps. Surprisingly, painting  was more of a challenge than using oil pastels (I had no past experience in oil pastels, but I made sure I got my own pack of them new from the art shop instead of using the short, old school ones) because with the painting I sometimes struggled to get the tones right in comparison to my reference picture. However, oil pastels and acrylic paint are mediums I will continue to experiment with in the future. If you like and favourite this artwork, could you please comment too? I appreciate every favourite I get, but few people currently comment on my artworks. I would love to know what you think of my artwork (constructive feedback) and also ways I can improve it. (I suspect the Nargles are behind it...
